RELAY NATION,

This is our first blog post and we decided to just introduce ourselves!

We are the Relay for Life planning committee here at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. What is that you ask? Well let me tell you! Our committee is full thirty-forty dedicated individuals who make the whole relay happen! We plan throughout the whole school year all of the logistics and things that make our event happen in the spring. We plan the entertainment, get the sponsorship, connect with the local survivors, recruit students and faculty and plan for 18 hours of fun! 

On a more serious note, what we're really doing and our goal is, is to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Our committee is full of people who have been unfortunately touched by cancer in someway or are just there to fight back! We want to make this cancers last decade and hopefully put a end to cancers existence. We have fundraisers throughout the year and you can always catch us around campus doing something to raise money for the ACS.

We hope to keep updated with this blog weekly to let you know what's going on with relay and what events are coming up. We hope to also do weekly committee member spotlights and feature one member each week who has really stepped up!

For this weeks events we will be doing tabling on Friday

at the bottom of baker. We will be selling these awesome shirts for $10 a piece. Come see us from 9-11!
